People living with eczema and their families are almost twice as likely to suffer with anxiety, depression, stress and suicidal thoughts.  Support is essential.

Help us demonstrate the need for more support in the eczema community

After you apply to the Psychology Pilot Program, you will receive an email with next steps (please make sure to check you spam folder for this email). The email will include a link to a survey hosted by our partners at Community and Patient Preference Research (CaPPRe). This survey aims to learn which aspects of mental wellbeing and quality of life are most important to you and where you/your family need support prior to entering the program. A future follow-up survey will explore how well the pilot program addresses these issues.

These research results will be used to evaluate the effectiveness of the program and help in future expansion of the program for people impacted by eczema. Additionally, if you consent to share your survey responses with the mental health professional working with you, they may use this information as focus areas during your sessions with them.

NOTE: No personal information or information regarding medical history will be divulged to unauthorised third parties and the findings from this research will not include any identifying information in publication or other forms of dissemination. Results may be published but will not reveal participants identity.
