🌍 Exciting Update from Doha! 🌍
Eczema Support Australia's Managing Director, Melanie Funk, had the privilege of attending an influential World Health Organisation (WHO) and International Society of Atopic Dermatitis (ISAD) meeting in the Middle East - Doha, as part of a GlobalSkin delegation. The opportunity to connect with international experts, share insights, and represent the voices of patients affected by eczema was invaluable.
At a powerful joint reception, GlobalSkin and the Global Atopic Dermatitis Atlas (GADA) highlighted how atopic dermatitis deeply impacts patients and families, reinforcing the importance of including patient perspectives in global research.
Melanie is eager to bring these learnings home and continue this vital work for our community.
Next year this important eczema event will be held in Melbourne and hosted by Prof John Su! We can't wait.
