World Atopic Eczema Day Photo Exhibition
Eczema is more than a surface condition
It impacts inside and out
This year, to raise awareness for World Atopic Eczema Day on 14th September 2022, we are running a photo exhibition to highlight the burdens of living with severe eczema.
Register via the form below and submit your photos wearing your clothes inside out to highlight the under-recognised, multi-dimensional nature of this disease.
- It’s having to wear clothes inside out because the labels and seams irritate sensitive skin
- It’s the pain caused by scabbing and the open wounds from the uncontrollable scratching
- It’s the financial burden to cover the costs of specialists and treatments
- It’s the hours caregivers spend every day caring for their child’s skin
- It’s the high level of depression and frustration at work, school and life
Entries will go into the draw to win one of three eczema care packs.
You can submit up to 5 photos or a short video reflecting “Inside Atopic Eczema”. You may also add a statement explaining how living with eczema impacts you.
The photos will be used in our digital photo exhibition to be released on World Atopic Eczema Day on 14 September 2022.
